After years of experience, Nicki the owner of Nicki's Diapers created a new diaper taking the pros of all the different diapering systems and eliminated the cons. This resulted in the Best cloth diaper system available - trimmest fitting and highly absorbent! To help reduce early confusion and the overwhelming feeling when researching cloth diapers, the Best Bottom diapers has simplified cloth diapering while making one of the most economical systems. The Best Bottom one size diapering system is not a pocket diaper, not an all in one, not a fitted diaper and not a prefold system...it is the best of all types!
Pair these covers with Best Bottom Inserts found here. This cover will also work over any other prefold or fitted!
Simplify, simplify, simplify! Many may start researching cloth diapers, get overwhelmed and quit. Best Bottoms are YOUR solution! So easy to use yet comes with lots of options so you can get a customized system for your baby.
1. Adjust front snaps to achieve the size needed.
2. Snap insert into diaper.
3. Put diaper on baby and go!
4. When baby needs a diaper change snap out soiled insert and snap clean one in.
5. Put diaper on baby and go AGAIN. The Best Bottom shell is wipe-able and can be used multiple times before washing but you may want to air dry between uses but it is not necessary.
We recommend getting as many shells as your baby poos in a 2-3 day time period (for newborns count how many explosions they have!!). We have found that poo does stay on the insert most of the time but in some cases it may not (but it will stay in the diaper cover avoiding an embarassing mess!) Three different size inserts in several different materials available. We don't believe in a one size insert. Newborns and toddlers are not the same size so in order for a one size insert to absorb enough for a toddler it will be HUGE on a newborn. Y ou may not need all three sizes of inserts and can skip the middle size - it is all up to you! We recommend approximately 24 inserts per size.
So to make it SIMPLE you will need approx 8-10 shells and 18-24 inserts per size. How easy is that?!
Fits from birth to 35+ lbs. We added special leg gussets to help keep everything in, adjustable rise with four settings, and overlapping closure in both snap and hook & loop. This is a very trim fitting diaper so please be extra careful that none of the insert is sticking out of the shell. Also, after the diaper is on, pull the leg gussets out around baby's legs. This will guard against leaks and help avoid any red marks.

We've used all kinds and brands of diaper covers, mans this is our favorite. You can use the covers with prefolds as we have or with the bet bottom inserts. A great fit, with tight but not to tight leg areas and they're really cute on baby. So either way with the best bottom system or just with prefolds these are highly recommended.

I have several different cloth diaper brands and he best Bottoms System is by far my favorite. I was hesitant to buy them online and kept putting it off but decided to buy them when the Go, Baby, Go! store opened up. I LOVE the system. It's easy, they have a great fit, and never leak!

I am currently using this cover with the Best Bottom system for my 6 week old and 2 year old. The fit is very good for both as my little one is long and skinny and older one that is a little bit thicker. I love that I can use for both kids. The leg gussets are a huge plus as they have kept in the messiest breastfed poo diapers and even lasted overnight with both kids. Only thing I do wish is more prints/colors that are offered. But they seem to be coming out with more.

My daughter loves these. She said they are super cute and fit her newborn better than any others. They are also easy to clean.

These were the first CDs that we used & 13 mths later we still LOVE them. They've held *almost* everything in (we've had nighttime leaking but that was b/c we didn't have the right absorbancy) including infant BF poop & sickness poop.
We chose these b/c they had the double gussets, were made in the US and the type/style was what we were looking for.

I really like this system for an AI2. We've gotten a really good fit on our daughter from 2 months on (she's 17 months and still wearing them well!). We have snaps and haven't had any problems with them. I love how fast the shells dry!
