Product Description

The same Country Save Detergent you love in a more manageable 5-lb box!  This box contains approximately 80 loads of detergent.  This item has a built-in shipping charge of $6 (Priority Mail).  You may add other items to this order for no additional shipping charges. We will refund excess shipping charges if your order does not meet our free shipping limit.

Many people wonder what really makes our laundry detergent better and, most importantly, how can we put such a small scoop in the box and expect people to use just one scoop... or less, depending on the application. It comes down to this: There are no hidden ingredients but there is a special way in which the ingredients are mixed together to create a formula that dissolves completely, cleans your clothes to your expectation level and then rinses completely out of your clothes to leave no residue that can be irritating for many, many reasons. (Who wants to wear laundry soap?)

Another way to appreciate why we pack more punch in a small scoop is to understand what bulk density is and how it differs from brand to brand. Since Tide is the #1 clothes detergent brand in the USA, let's compare with them. Tide's bulk density is about 37 lbs per cubic foot. We are 74 lbs per cubic foot. We don't package air, we don't use filler ingredients and there is a whole raft of other stuff that Tide has in it that we don't... including a scoop that is 3 times the size of our scoop...

You should expect about 80 loads from a 5lb box or 160 loads from a 10lb box of Country Save Powdered Laundry Detergent. We believe that we offer one of the best high efficiency detergents available; it is great for washing cloth diapers, eco-friendly, and dye & scent free. When you see your Cost Per Wash you will understand why Country Save washing detergent is the BEST VALUE for you and your family!

Country Save Powder Laundry Detergent

HE Detergent Info

Country Save Powdered Laundry Detergent has specifically been formulated to be compatible in HE / Front Load Washing Machines. As many of you know, the new HE washer machines may also be top load. Country Save Powdered Laundry Detergent is a low-suds formula designed to work in any HE environment.

It is also good to remember just what "HE" means. It is the shortened form of "High Efficiency" and it pertains specifically to the amount of water the washing machine uses. In most cases, speaking generally, it means that only 25-50% of the water used in a standard top-load washer is used in an HE machine. That explains why you only need a 1/2 scoop of Country Save in an HE machine... or at least you can start there and go up or down depending on your specific needs

Cloth Diapers

Cotton Diapers and Country Save Powdered Detergent go together like Mom & Apple Pie! We have been recognized in hundreds of blog sites as being the product that most Moms love for washing cloth diapers and baby clothes while getting the results they want....and all for the same reasons they like it for grown-up clothes; no residue, no fragrance, fresh smell and clean!

COST PER WASH COMPARIONS

This price comparison sheet was done in a way that highlights our toughest competition by looking at Walmart as the source and using our normal small store pricing for Country Save as the competitive entity. Let me put it this way....you CANNOT tell a book by it's cover when it comes to the wash declaration on the nation's largest detergent brands!

Country Save Powdered Laundry Detergent declares 40 top loads on our 5lb/80oz box. There are 40 full scoops of detergent in our 40 wash box because we know that everyone wants to use a full scoop if it is the right amount! We have a 1/2 scoop mark to use for front load machines and that is shown on the box!

We also declare 80 "HE" loads in our 5lb/80oz because your HE washer uses only 1/2 as much water as the top loader! Look on our box and see the simple directions!

Real Cost Per Wash is what you get when you use a product like Country Save Powdered Detergent and actually get 40 scoops from a 40 wash load declaration on the box... without all the fillers, optical brighteners and stuff that clogs up septic tanks in the country.

That is why we believe that our laundry detergent is the best detergent for the price. Not only because it is costs less than the leading competitors, but it is wonderful for washing cloth diapers, can be considered a green laundry detergent, may alleviate laundry detergent allergies, and has received great reviews and endorsements.

The data above came directly from the Walmart retail floor of the Arlington, WA store. All brands above were actually purchased on Feb 14, 2012 and brought to our lab for analysis. The actual scoop count on this sheet represents the actual box being opened and measuring the number of level scoops in each box. The retail prices are Walmart prices.

The most blatant misrepresentation to the consumer is the Arm & Hammer product. The declaration is 100 loads. There are 17 level scoops in the box. The only way to get 100 loads is to put 1/8" of detergent in the large scoop and no normal person would do that.

All of the other examples are what we expected including those for Country Save. Please note that we are the only detergent on the shelf with a scoop that honestly represents what the box indicates on the front. There are no others including the #1 brand that do that.
